Section 0ne:
أَللَّهُمَّ أَلْهِمْنا
طاعَتَكَ، وَجَنِّبْنا مَعْصِيَتَكَ،
 | وَيَسِّرْ لَنا بُلُوغَ ما نَتَمَنّى مِنِ
ابْتِغآءِ رِضْوانِكَ، |
| وَأَحْلِلْنا بُحْبُوحَةَ جِنانِكَ،
|
| وَاقْشَعْ عَنْ بَصائِرنا سَحابَ الارْتِيابِ،
|
| وَاكْشِفْ عَنْ قُلُوبِنا أَغْشِيَةَ
الْمِرْيَةِ وَالْحِجابِ،
|
| وَأَزْهِقِ الْباطِلَ عَنْ ضَمآئِرِنا،
|
| وَأَثْبِتِ الْحَقَّ فِي سَرائِرِنا،
|
فَإنَّ الشُّكُوكَ وَالظُّنُونَ لَواقِحُ الْفِتَنِ، وَمُكَدِّرَةٌ لِصَفْوِ الْمَنآئِحِ وَالْمِنَنِ. |
O Lord my God! Inspire us to obey Thee, and make us avoid disobeying Thee,
| And make it easy for us to reach seeking Thy good pleasure which we wish, |
| And grant us to be in the midst of Thy Garden of Bliss, |
| And dispel from our insights the clouds of disbelief, |
| And remove from our hearts the veil and wrappings of doubts, |
| And make falsehood vanish from our innermost, |
| and affix the truth in our innermost, |
For the doubtful and the opinionated fertilize temptations, and they muddy the purity of gifts and kindnesses! |
Section Two:
أَللَّهُمَّ احْمِلْنا فِي سُفُنِ نَجاتِكَ،
| وَمَتِّعْنا بِلَذِيْذِ مُناجاتِكَ،
|
| وَأَوْرِدْنا حِياضَ حُبِّكَ،
|
| وَأَذِقْنا حَلاوَةَ وُدِّكَ وَقُرْبِكَ،
|
| وَاجْعَلْ جِهادَنا فِيكَ،
|
| وَهَمَّنا فِي طاعَتِكَ،
|
| وَأَخْلِصْ نِيَّاتِنا فِي مُعامَلَتِكَ،
|
فَإنَّا بِكَ وَلَكَ، وَلا وَسِيلَةَ لَنا إلَيْكَ إلاَّ أَنْتَ. |
O God, carry us in the vessel of Thy deliverance,
| And let us enjoy the sweetness of inner prayer to Thee, |
| And let us drink at the pools of Thy love, |
| And let us taste the sweetness of Thy nearness, and Thy love, |
| O God, allow us to struggle in Thee, |
| And preoccupy us with obeying Thee, |
| And purify our intentions in devoting works to Thee, |
For we exist through Thee and belong to Thee, and we have no one to mediate with Thee but Thee! |
Section Three:
إلهِي اجْعَلْنِي مِنَ الْمُصْطَفَيْنَ الأَخْيارِ، وَأَلْحِقْنِي بِالصَّالِحِينَ الأَبْرارِ،
| السَّابِقِينَ إلَى الْمَكْرُماتِ،
|
| الْمسارِعِينَ إلَى الْخَيْراتِ،
|
| الْعامِلِينَ لِلْباقِياتِ الصَّالِحاتِ،
|
| السَّاعِينَ إلى رَفِيعِ الدَّرَجاتِ،
|
إنَّكَ عَلى كُلِّ شَيْء قَدِيرٌ، وَبِالإجابَةِ جَدِيرٌ بِرَحْمَتِكَ يا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ. |
|
My Lord! Place me among the chosen, the good, And let me join the
righteous, the pious,
|
who are the first to offer generous gifts,
|
|
the swift to do good deeds,
|
|
the workers of the abiding acts of righteousness,
|
|
the strivers toward the elevated degrees!
|
Thou art powerful over everything and disposed to respond! By Thy mercy,
O Most Merciful of the merciful!
