Four schools of thought in Islam say the Athan as follows: (The
Sunni (Hanafi, Shafi'i, Maliki, and Hanbali) say the Athan as below. The Shi'a (Ja'fari and Zaidi) add more phrases, and they say the last phrase of the Athan twice rather than
once. Also see Book of Salat of the Series of Islamic Books for Beginners.)

THE IQAAMA IN FULL
Most schools of thought in Islam say the phrases only once, except for the first phrase which
is said twice, OR they say Allaahu Akbar 4 times and with what follows twice for each phrase as written below.
However, other schools of thought say it as it appears here. (Hanafi,
Shafi'i, Maaliki, and Hanbali (Sunni) say the Iqaama as shown above. The Ja'fari and Zaidi (Shi'a) add the phrase of Hasten to the Best Deed and say it twice. It is regarded as
Wajib (obligatory) in their Fiqh. Also see the Book of Salat of the Series of Islamic Books for Beginners)
