Four schools of thought in Islam say the Athan as follows:  (The Sunni (Hanafi, Shafi'i, Maliki, and Hanbali) say the Athan as below.  The Shi'a (Ja'fari and Zaidi) add more phrases, and they say the last phrase of the Athan twice rather than once.  Also see Book of Salat of the Series of Islamic Books for Beginners.)

Two schools of thought in Islam add the following after saying "Hasten toward true prosperity". (The Shi'a schools of thought (Ja'fari and Zaidi) regard adding this phrase obligatory (Wajib).)

WORDS OF IQAAMA

Iqaama is essentially the same as the call for the Athan except for adding the following two phrases:

THE IQAAMA IN FULL 

Most schools of thought in Islam say the phrases only once, except for the first phrase which is said twice, OR they say Allaahu Akbar 4 times and with what follows twice for each phrase as written below.

However, other schools of thought say it as it appears here. (Hanafi, Shafi'i, Maaliki, and Hanbali (Sunni) say the Iqaama as shown above.  The Ja'fari and Zaidi (Shi'a) add the phrase of Hasten to the Best Deed and say it twice.  It is regarded as Wajib (obligatory) in their Fiqh.  Also see the Book of Salat of the Series of Islamic Books for Beginners)
