Du’aa for the Day of Friday
دُعاء:
في يوم الجمعه

 | اَلْحَمْدُ للهِِ الاَْوَّلِ قَبْلَ الاِْنْشاءِ وَالاِْحْياءِ وَالاْخِرِ بَعْدَ فَناءِ
الاَْشْياءِ
|
| الْعَليمِ الَّذى لا يَنْسى مَنْ ذَكَرَهُ وَلا يَنْقُصُ مَنْ شَكَرَهُ
|
| وَلا يَخيبُ مَنْ دَعاهُ وَلا يَقْطَعُ رَجاءَ مَنْ رَجاهُ
|
| اَللّـهُمَّ اِنّى اُشْهِدُكَ
وَكَفى بِكَ شَهيداً
|
| وَاُشْهِدُ جَميعَ مَلائِكَتِكَ وَسُكّانَ سَمواتِكَ وَ حَمَلَةَ عَرْشِكَ
|
| وَمَنْ بَعَثْتَ مِنْ اَنْبِيائِكَ وَرُسُلِكَ وَاَنْشَأْتَ مِنْ اَصْنافِ
خَلْقِكَ
|
| اَنّي اَشْهَدُ اَنَّكَ اَنْتَ اللهُ لا اِلـهَ اِلاّ اَنْتَ وَحْدَكَ لا شَريكَ لَكَ وَلا عَديلَ
|
| وَلا خُلْفَ لِقَوْلِكَ وَلا تَبْديلَ
|
| وَاَنَّ مُحَمَّداً صَلَّى
اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ عَبْدُكَ وَرَسُولُكَ
|
| اَدّى ما حَمَّلْتَهُ اِلَى العِبادِ وَجاهَدَ فِي اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ حَقَّ الْجِهادِ
|
| وَاَنَّهُ بَشَّرَ بِما هُوَ حَقٌّ مِنَ
الثَّوابِ وَاَنْذَرَ بِما هُوَ صِدْقٌ مِنَ الْعِقابِ
|
| اَللّـهُمَّ ثَبِّتْني عَلى دينِكَ ما اَحْيَيْتَني
|
| وَلا تُزِغْ قَلْبي بَعْدَ اِذْ هَدَيْتَني
|
| وَهَبْ لي مِنْ لَدُنْكَ
رَحْمَةً اِنَّكَ اَنْتَ الْوَهّابُ
|
| صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّد وَعَلى آلِ مُحَمَّد
|
| وَاجْعَلْني مِنْ اَتْباعِهِ وَشيعَتِهِ
|
| وَاحْشُرْني في زُمْرَتِهِ وَوَفِّقْني لاَِداءِ فَرْضِ
الْجُمُعاتِ
|
| وَما اَوْجَبْتَ عَلَيَّ فيها مِنَ الطّاعاتِ
|
| وَقَسَمْتَ لاَِهْلِها مِنَ الْعَطاءِ في يَوْمِ الْجَزاءِ اِنَّكَ اَنْتَ الْعَزيزُ الْحَكيمُ.
|
|
Praise be to God, who existed before
creation and the giving of life, and who shall continue to exist after all things have perished.
| The All-Knowing who forgets not the person who remembers Him;
 | Who does not diminish the one who gives Him thanks;
|
| Who does not disappoint the one who prays to Him;
|
| and who does not frustrate the hope of the one who places
hope in Him.
|
|
| O Lord, I call Thee to witness ─and You are sufficient as a witness; and I
call all Thy angels and inhabitants of Thy heavens and bearers of Thy Throne, and Thy Prophets and Thy apostles whom You entrusted with Thy mission, and the various
creatures whom You had created;
|
| To witness that I bear testimony that You are Godand there
being no God but Thee; You are one with no associate or peer with Thee, and there is none but the truth in Thy word, nor any change.
|
| And that, verily, Muhammad ─may Thy blessings be on him
and his progeny─ is Thy servant and Thy apostle;
| he delivered to Thy servants the message with which You
entrusted him,
|
| and exerted himself in the cause of God Most High and
Exalted, as it deserves;
|
| and he gave happy tidings of reward which was certain,
|
| and threatened with punishment which was true.
|
|
| O Lord, keep me firm in Thy religion as
long as You keep me alive; and let not my heart deviate; after You have guided me;
|
| And let me have mercy from Thee; verily,
You and You alone are the Giver.
|
| Bless Muhammad and his progeny and make
us of the number of his followers and his adherents,
| And raise me (on the last day) amongst
his band;
|
| And give me the grace to be regular in
my performance of the Friday prayer
|
| And to win such of Thy bounty as You
would allot to the deserving observers of Fridays, on the day of recompense.
|
|
| Verily, Thou and Thou alone art the Mighty, the
Wise.
|
