1. Beseeching God and Praising His Names:
 | Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds. And peace and blessings be upon our master
Muhammad, His Prophet, and on his progeny.
 | O Allah! The Praise is Yours for what You had resolved for Thy devotees, whom You had
selected for Thyself and Thy religion.
 | When You elected the best for them of the Bountiful Preserve that does not fade, nor
dissipate,
 | After You had stipulated for them to be pious and righteous in this vain world and its
lures.
2. God and His Prophets:
 | So they agreed to Your stipulation, and You knew of their sincerity and perfection, so You accepted them and
made them intimate with Thee,
 | You, O Lord! made known their auspicious arrival in advance, and praised them in clear terms.
 | And You sent down Thy Angels before them, and honored them by revealing Thy Words,
and conferred
them Thy wisdom,
 | And You let them be the only medium to reach Thee, and the only means to Thine Pleasure.
3. God and His Prophets, continued:
 | One You dwelled him in Paradise until You took him out from it.
 | One You made him to ride the Ark, rescued him along with others with him, through Thy mercy.
 | One You chose him and prepared him for Thy Mission, as Thy Friend, who implored Thee for kindness for his
upcoming generations, so You approved, and enhanced them well nigh.
 | One You spoke directly with him through the Bush, and appointed his brother to succeed him and help.
 | One You brought about without a father, and provided him with clear signs and supported him with the Holy Spirit.
4. God and His Prophets, continued:
O Lord, For each (of Your Prophets) You had:
prescribed a Divine law,
and set up for him a Path,
and for each You appointed guardians
The guardians fulfilled the duty, one after another, from time to time
All that was to keep safe and protect Thy religion, and to be a witness over Thy servants,
Lest the Truth staggers from its firm foundation, and falsehood prevails over the hearts of the people,
So that not a single man says: "If only Thou had sent a Messenger unto us as a Warner, and established for us guidance, so we may follow Thy revelations before we
are ruined and disgraced!"
5. God and His Prophets, continued:
Until, You Lord, brought about Your Select and Beloved Muhammad, may You bless him along with his progeny.
So just as You chose him he was the master of Thy creation, the elect of the elect, the best of the best, and the truest to the Trusts,
You made him, O Lord, the Supreme Leader of Thy Prophets, and sent him to the troubled world of men and jinn, among Thy servants,
You honored both the East and the West by him, to be under his sway,
You, O Lord, let the Buraq be under his control and exalted his soul in Thy heavens.
6. God and His Prophets, continued:
And, O Lord, You conferred over Muhammad knowledge of the past and future of the creation.
Then You invested him with awe and majesty, and surrounded him by Jubra'eel, Mika'eel, and the distinguished Angels,
And You promised him that You would make his religion prevail over all others, no matter how much the disbelievers despise it.
Thereafter You let him be in the Truthful Dominion among his good folks,
And allotted for him and his folks the first sanctuary appointed for mankind, at Becca (Mecca), a blessed place, a guidance to mankind,
Wherein are plain and lucid signs; the site where Ibrahim stood up praying, and he who enters it is safe.
7. God and His Sayings about
Ahlul Bayt:
And Thou said: "Allah’s resolve is to remove impurity from you, O Ahlul Bayt, and purify you thoroughly."
Then You settled the recompense of Muhammad (blessed be he and his progeny)
to be the Love for his Kinsfolk, in Thy Holy Book:
As You said: "Say (O Muhammad): I ask no recompense of you except the Love of my Kinsfolk." |
And you said: "What recompense I have asked of you, it is for yourselves." |
And you said: "I ask of you no reward for this, except that for him who chooses a way unto his Lord." |
8. Muhammad and Ahlul Bayt:
As such, they (Ahlul Bayt) are the very means of approach to Thee, and the medium to gain Thy Pleasure. |
So when the Prophet's days came to a close, he deputized his successor, Ali ibn Abi Talib, (Blessed be they both, and their progeny), as the
guide. Since Muhammad was the warner, and to every people is a guide |
And the Prophet said to the public gathered in front of him; |
"Of him whose Mowla (Master) I am so this Ali is his Mowla. O Allah! support him who supports Ali, be against him who is against Ali, help him who helps
Ali, and forsake him who forsakes Ali" |
And said: "Of him whom I am the Prophet, so is Ali his Master." |
And said: "I and Ali are of One Tree, and the rest of mankind are of diverse Trees, |
And he proclaimed Ali as the status of Haroon to Musa. So he told him: "I am to you as Musa was to Haroon, however there is no Prophet after me."
9. Muhammad and Ahlul
Bayt, continued:
And he (Muhammad) gave his daughter in marriage to Ali, the princess of the ladies of the worlds. |
And he made lawful for Ali what was lawful to him in the mosque, |
And he closed all doors to the mosque except Ali's door. |
Then he gave him his knowledge and wisdom |
And he said: "I am the knowledge city and Ali is its gateway. He who wishes to dwell in this knowledge city should go through its doorway." |
10. Muhammad and Ahlul Bayt,
continued:
Furthermore he said to Ali: "You are my brother, successor and inheritor",
Your flesh is my flesh, Your blood is my blood, Your truce is my truce, Your fight is my fight, and
Faith is blended into your flesh and blood, just as it is blended in my flesh and blood,
You shall take charge of the reservoir after me,
And you will fulfill my debt, and shall keep alive my "way of life",
And your devotees shall speak with authority, command respect and hold the torch of goodness; and their faces be resplendent, will be around me in
Paradise, in my close company.
And were it not for you, O Ali, the faithful would not know the truth after me.
11. Ali and his workings:
 | And after him (Muhammad) Ali was the guide for the wanderers and a beacon from the
blinding darkness, |
 | And he was the strong rope of Allah, and His Right Path:
 | Most kind to the common people, being the first in matters of religion,
 | None could match him in his qualities, |
 | Took the same path as that of the Messenger (Blessed be on they both and their Progeny)
 | He put an end to misinterpretation of the Quran, accusations or name-calling did not budge him
if the matter was concerning Allah. |
12. Ali and his workings,
continued:
He (Ali) reduced the arrogant leaders of Arabs into a fright,
Annihilated their heroes, and dispersed their wolfs,
Thus he caused their hearts agony, be it in Badr, or Khaybar, or Hunain, or others,
Therefore, united they became to oppose him, and in great number they came out to fight him,
Till he destroyed
the renouncers, (Jamal)
those who swerved from what was right, (Siffin)
and the deviators, (Nahrawan)
And while he was carrying out the important mission. he was killed by a hideous villain, in the footsteps of earlier villain.
After that an outlandish approach was applied to the directions of the Messenger of Allah, (Blessed be he and his progeny), in matters of the
Guides (Imams), one after the other.
13. Ali and the Ummah:
All that and the Ummah incessant on its dislike towards him.
Flocking together to boycott the connection with his family, and distancing his children out of their way,
Except for a handful of faithful who kept their promise to uphold the Rights in them;
So, some were slain, some held prisoners, and some were sent to distant lands,
And they met their destiny face to face (martyrdom), as is given to each of them as reward of good deeds and the recompense grand,
Since the earth belongs to God, and He gives it for an inheritance to whom He wishes from among His servants, and the good end is for the God-fearing pious;
So glory be to our Lord! Verily the promise of our Lord must be fulfilled; Allah does not break His Word, and He is Almighty, Wise.
14. Cry for Ahlul Bayt in the aftermath:
Let the heartbroken be in tears, for the purified of Ahlul Bayt of Muhammad and Ali (Blessed be them both and their progeny)
And together with them make their hearts bleed,
And for them let the tears flow, and let their voices choke up with pain;
Let them cry out in protest against the ruthless injustice, and let them call up the insensitive souls to stir.
Where is al-Hasan? Where is al-Husain?
Where are the children of al-Husain?
The Good, after the Good! The Truthful after the Truthful!
15. The call for Imam Al-Mahdi:

near and received him gladly.

you go? Was it Good, pleasing and pleasant? Or otherwise? Or is it in well guarded concealment?
21. It breaks my heart:
 | It breaks my heart to look at the creation, yet I cannot see you,
nor hear a whisper about your whereabouts, nor a message! |
 | It is disheartening to know while you are watching over the disorder
and confusion, I am far away, (in the thick of violence and turmoil), unable to speak out and protest. |
 | I long for you, who is out of sight, but has not forsaken us. |
 | I long for you, who has departed from us, yet is not far from us.
 | I long for you, who inspires affection, and the faithful men and
women delight in your memorable glory, so for you we yearn. |
 | I long for you, who is the man of glory who cannot be excelled. |
 | I long for you, who is the root of distinction, who cannot be equaled. |
 | I long for you, who is the comfort, who cannot be surpassed. |
 | I long for you, who is equitable beyond a doubt, who cannot be passed. |
22. It breaks my heart,
continued:
 | O Master! How long shall I be puzzled about you; how long! and in which way I describe you, and
with what kind of a message? |
 | It saddens me to get a reply from anyone but you, and be enticed. |
 | It saddens me that I cry for you, and the people put you off, leaving you behind. |
 | It saddens me what befalls you from them but they suffer not. |
 | Is there a comrade with whom I wail and take pains? |
 | Is there a frightened man with whom I may share his fright when alone? |
 | Is there an eye-twinkle of evidence, so I can help take up the trouble?
 | O Son of Ahmed, is there a means to arrange for a meeting with you? |
 | Can you once guide the course of time, so we may obtain our wish?
 | When shall we imbibe enough of your copious abundance, so to be fulfilled? |
23. How long shall we keep
on...:
 | How long shall we keep waiting, for our waiting has lasted too long? |
 | When shall we converse with you and have our minds set at rest to the joy of our hearts? |
 | When shall you see us and we see you and you have triumphed over? We wonder. |
 | Shall we ever surround you while You unify mankind, filling the earth with justice; debasing your enemies
and dealing them a blow.
 | And taking the wind out of the arrogant and the supercilious, and those who deny
the Truth; breaking the back of the haughty; and uprooting the roots of the malicious; |
 | and we sing the praise of Allah, the Lord of the worlds. |
24. Supplicating to Allah:

 | O Lord! You are the remover of sorrows and hardships. |

and Thy Prophet, |
 | Who was created for us as a refuge and an asylum, |
 | O Lord! Increase by that our dignity and grandeur |
 | O Lord! Kindly make his headquarters our place of domicile and dwelling abode, |
