1. To open the Du'aa by Praising God:

	اَللّـهُمَّ اِنّي اَفْتَتِحُ الثَّناءَ بِحَمْدِكَ، وَاَنْتَ مُسَدِّدٌ لِلصَّوابِ بِمَّنِكَ،
	وَاَيْقَنْتُ اَنَّكَ اَنْتَ اَرْحَمُ الرّاحِمينَ في مَوْضِعِ الْعَفْوِ وَالرَّحْمَةِ،
	وَاَشَدُّ الْمُعاقِبينَ في مَوْضِعِ النَّكالِ وَالنَّقِمَةِ،
	وَاَعْظَمُ الْمُتَجَبِّرِينَ في مَوْضِعِ الْكِبْرياءِ وَالْعَظَمَةِ،

O Allah, I glorify Thee by praising Thee; since through Your bounties You confer the truth and salvation;

	And I know for sure that You are most merciful while disposing leniency and forgiveness,
	Yet, exacting when giving reprimand and punishment,
	And You are the Supreme in the domain of Power and Might.

2. Beseeching God to invoke him:

	اَللّـهُمَّ اَذِنْتَ لي في دُعائِكَ وَمَسْأَلَتِكَ فَاسْمَعْ
	يا سَميعُ مِدْحَتي، وَاَجِبْ يا رَحيمُ دَعْوَتي،
	وَاَقِلْ يا غَفُورُ عَثْرَتي،
	فَكَمْ يا اِلهي مِنْ كُرْبَة قَدْ فَرَّجْتَها وَهُمُوم قَدْ كَشَفْتَها،
	وَعَثْرَة قَدْ اَقَلْتَها، وَرَحْمَة قَدْ نَشَرْتَها، وَحَلْقَةِ بَلاء قَدْ فَكَكْتَها،

O Allah, You have given me permission to invoke Thee and
beseech Thee,

	so listen, O Hearer, to my words of praise,
	and give a favorable reply to my supplication,
	and minimize my falling into misery, O the often-forgiving.

How many a trouble, O my Lord, You have removed:

	And many a sorrow have You dispelled;
	And many a misery have You mitigated;
	And Your mercy You have spread,
	And circles of misfortunes You have cut short.

3. Praising God's Attributes:

	اَلْحَمْدُ للهِ الَّذي لَمْ يَتَّخِذْ صاحِبَةً وَلا وَلَداً،
	وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ شَريكٌ في الْمُلْكِ، وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ وَلِىٌّ مِنَ الذُّلِّ وَكَبِّرْهُ تَكْبيراً،
	اَلْحَمْدُ للهِ بِجَميعِ مَحامِدِهِ كُلِّهَا، عَلى جَميعِ نِعَمِهِ كُلِّها
	اَلْحَمْدُ للهِ الَّذي لا مُضادَّ لَهُ في مُلْكِهِ، وَلا مُنازِعَ لَهُ في اَمْرِهِ،
	اَلْحَمْدُ للهِ الَّذي لا شَريكَ لَهُ في خَلْقِهِ، وَلا شَبيهَ لَهُ في عَظَمَتِهِ،
	اَلْحَمْدُ للهِ الْفاشي في الْخَلْقِ اَمْرُهُ وَحَمْدُهُ،
	الظّاهِرِ بِالْكَرَمِ مَجْدُهُ، الْباسِطِ بِالْجُودِ يَدَهُ،
	الَّذي لا تَنْقُصُ خَزائِنُهُ، وَلا تَزيدُهُ كَثْرَةُ الْعَطاءِ إلاّ جُوداً وَكَرَماً،
	اِنَّهُ هُوَ الْعَزيزُ الْوَهّابُ،

Praise be to Allah, Who has not taken unto Himself a wife, nor a son, and:

	Who has no partner in dominion,
	nor any protecting friend through dependence.
	So Magnify Him in His splendor.

Praise be to Allah, with full gratitude for his bounties.
Praise be to Allah, Who has no opponent to His rule, nor a challenger to His commands.
Praise be to Allah, Who has no counsel to meddle with His works of creation, nor an equal to Him in His splendor.

Praise be to Allah, Whose commandments operate in Creation;

	His glory is evident through His love and kindness.
	His overflowing generosity is available through His unlimited favors,
	and whose favors do not exhaust His resources,
	and the more He gives, the further He wants to give, for He is so loving, so caring.

Verily Allah is the Mighty, the Generous.

4. In beseeching forgiveness:

	اَللّـهُمَّ اِنّي اَسْاَلُكَ قَليلاً مِنْ كَثير، مَعَ حاجَة بي اِلَيْهِ عَظيمَة وَغِناكَ عَنْهُ قَديمٌ،
	وَهُوَ عِنْدي كَثيرٌ، وَهُوَ عَلَيْكَ سَهْلٌ يَسيرٌ،
	اَللّـهُمَّ اِنَّ عَفْوَكَ عَنْ ذَنْبي،
	وَتَجاوُزَكَ عَنْ خَطيـئَتي، وَصَفْحَكَ عَنْ ظُلْمي وَسِتْرَكَ عَنْ قَبيحِ عَمَلي،
	وَحِلْمَكَ عَنْ كَثيرِ جُرْمي، عِنْدَ ما كانَ مِنْ خَطئي وَعَمْدي،
	اَطْمَعَني في اَنْ اَسْأَلَكَ ما لا اَسْتَوْجِبُهُ مِنْكَ، الَّذي رَزَقْتَني مِنْ رَحْمَتِكَ، وَاَرَيْتَني مَنْ قُدْرَتِكَ، وَعَرَّفْتَني مِنْ اِجابَتِكَ،
	فَصِرْتُ اَدْعُوكَ آمِناً، وَاَسْاَلُكَ مُسْتَأنِساً، لا خائِفاً وَلا وَجِلاً،
	مُدِلاًّ عَلَيْكَ فيـما قَصَدْتُ فيهِ اِلَيْكَ، فَاِنْ اَبْطأَ عَنّي عَتَبْتُ بِجَهْلي عَلَيْكَ،
	وَلَعَلَّ الَّذي اَبْطأَ عَنّي هُوَ خَيْرٌ لي لِعِلْمِكَ بِعاقِبَةِ الاُْمُورِ،
	فَلَمْ اَرَ مَوْلاً كَريماً اَصْبَرَ عَلى عَبْد لَئيم مِنْكَ عَلَيَّ

O Allah, I ask of You for minor requests out of Your rich offerings,

	of which I am in dire need and You are able to do without it
	but for me it is a huge effort and for Thee it is easy and simple.

O Allah, truly, when You pardon my sins, and overlook my mistakes,

	take a lenient view of my poor conduct,
	cover up my foul actions,
	show consideration in spite of my transgressions committed willfully or negligently,

I am tempted to ask for that which I do not deserve, from Thee

	You who, through Thy mercy, give me the daily bread
	Provide me with what is suitable for me, through Thy control;
	And distinguish me with a favorable reply to my requests.

So I persist in calling out to Thee, believing in Thee, and I invoke Thee, talking familiarly, not afraid, nor shy,

	But assured of Thy love and kindness whenever I turn to Thee
	Pointing to Thee by the means of knowing Thee
	But when I (out of ignorance) begin to despair of Your response, this may be a blessing in disguise.
	Because You and You alone know the consequences and the aftermath.

I know no generous Lord as more accommodating to a disgruntled servant than You are to me.

5. In a rapport with the Almighty:

	يا رَبِّ، اِنَّكَ تَدْعُوني فَاُوَلّي عَنْكَ،
	وَتَتَحَبَّبُ اِلَيَّ فَاَتَبَغَّضُ اِلَيْكَ،
	وَتَتَوَدَّدُ اِلَىَّ فَلا اَقْبَلُ مِنْكَ، كَاَنَّ لِيَ التَّطَوُّلَ عَلَيْكَ،
	فَلَمْ يَمْنَعْكَ ذلِكَ مِنَ الرَّحْمَةِ لي، وَالاِْحْسانِ اِلَىَّ،
	وَالتَّفَضُّلِ عَلَيَّ بِجُودِكَ وَكَرَمِكَ،
	فَارْحَمْ عَبْدَكَ الْجاهِلَ وَجُدْ عَلَيْهِ بِفَضْلِ اِحْسانِكَ
	اِنَّكَ جَوادٌ كَريمٌ،

	O Lord! You call upon me, but I turn my back on it.
	You offer to be familiar with me, but I pay no heed.
	You love me, but I do not correspond to Thee: As if You have overextended my favors over Thee.
	Yet You do not abstain from bestowing favors and blessings on me from Thy mercy and grace
	So, O Lord! Have mercy on Thy ignorant servant and Award him with the favor of Thy goodness
	Verily You are most generous and most kind.

6. Praising the Almighty and His Attributes:

	اَلْحَمْدُ للهِ مالِكِ الْمُلْكِ، مُجْرِي الْفُلْكِ،
	مُسَخِّرِ الرِّياحِ، فالِقِ الاِْصْباحِ،
	دَيّانِ الدّينِ، رَبِّ الْعَالَمينَ،
	اَلْحَمْدُ للهِ عَلى حِلْمِهِ بَعْدَ عِلمِهِ،
	وَالْحَمْدُ للهِ عَلى عَفْوِهِ بَعْدَ قُدْرَتِهِ،
	وَالْحَمْدُ للهِ عَلى طُولِ اَناتِهِ في غَضَبِهِ،
	وَهُوَ قادِرٌ عَلى ما يُريدُ،
	اَلْحَمْدُ للهِ خالِقِ الْخَلْقِ، باسِطِ الرِّزْقِ،
	فاِلقِ اَلاِْصْباحِ ذِي الْجَلالِ وَالاِْكْرامِ وَالْفَضْلِ وَالاِْنْعامِ،
	الَّذي بَعُدَ فَلا يُرى، وَقَرُبَ فَشَهِدَ النَّجْوى تَبارَكَ وَتَعالى،

	Praise be To Allah To Whom is the Dominion, the Sovereign,
	Who sets the course of the stars, who controls the winds, causes the daybreak,
	And administers authority, the Lord of the worlds.
	Praise be to Allah who is tolerant despite all His foreknowledge.
	Praise be to Allah for His amnesty that ensues from His Might.
	Praise be to Allah for the respite He allows despite provocation, yet He is able to do what He wills.
	Praise be to Allah, the creator of all beings,
	Who freely sustains, who starts the day, the glorious, the mighty, giver of favors and bounties,
	Who is far away and invisible, yet nearest, so near as being aware of the whispered secrets,
	He is the Blessed, the Praised.

7. Further Praising the Almighty and His Attributes:

	اَلْحَمْدُ للهِ الَّذي لَيْسَ لَهُ مُنازِعٌ يُعادِلُهُ،
	وَلا شَبيهٌ يُشاكِلُهُ، وَلا ظَهيرٌ يُعاضِدُهُ
	قَهَرَ بِعِزَّتِهِ الاَْعِزّاءَ، وَتَواضَعَ لِعَظَمَتِهِ الْعُظَماءُ،
	فَبَلَغَ بِقُدْرَتِهِ ما يَشاءُ،
	اَلْحَمْدُ للهِ الَّذي يُجيبُني حينَ اُناديهِ،
	وَيَسْتُرُ عَلَيَّ كُلَّ عَورَة وَاَنَا اَعْصيهِ،
	وَيُعَظِّمُ الْنِّعْمَةَ عَلَىَّ فَلا اُجازيهِ،
	فَكَمْ مِنْ مَوْهِبَة هَنيئَة قَدْ اَعْطاني، وَعَظيمَة مَخُوفَة قَدْ كَفاني،
	وَبَهْجَة مُونِقَة قَدْ اَراني،
	فَاُثْني عَلَيْهِ حامِداً، وَاَذْكُرُهُ مُسَبِّحاً،

Praise be to Allah, Who is without equal to challenge Him,

Nor is there a likeness unto Him, nor a helper to assist Him.

He tames the powerful by His Might, and subdues the Arrogant by His Greatness;

So He, through His power, fulfils what He wills.

Praise be to Allah, Who responds to me when I call upon Him;

	Conceals my shortcomings even though I disobey Him;
	Gives me the plenty of His bounties yet I ask Him for more.

Many favors He has sanctioned for me;

	many horrifying dangers He has averted from me;
	and many joys He has provided for me.

Therefore, I keep singing His praises and keep on glorifying Him.

8. Praising the Almighty and His Works:

	اَلْحَمْدُ للهِ الَّذي لا يُهْتَكُ حِجابُهُ، وَلا يُغْلَقُ بابُهُ،
	وَلا يُرَدُّ سائِلُهُ، وَلا يُخَيَّبُ آمِلُهُ،
	اَلْحَمْدُ للهِ الَّذي يُؤْمِنُ الْخائِفينَ، وَيُنَجِّى الصّالِحينَ،
	وَيَرْفَعُ الْمُسْتَضْعَفينَ، وَيَضَعُ الْمُسْتَكْبِرينَ،
	ويُهْلِكُ مُلُوكاً وَيَسْتَخْلِفُ آخَرينِ،
	وَالْحَمْدُ للهِ قاِصمِ الجَّبارينَ، مُبيرِ الظّالِمينَ،
	مُدْرِكِ الْهارِبينَ، نَكالِ الظّالِمينَ صَريخِ الْمُسْتَصْرِخينَ،
	مَوْضِعِ حاجاتِ الطّالِبينَ، مُعْتَمَدِ الْمُؤْمِنينَ،

Praise be to Allah the Lord that no one can ever divulge; nor can anyone shut doors kept open by Him;

	No one who requests of Him is disappointed;
	And no one who hopes through Him is deluded in his hopes.

Praise be to Allah, Who gives protection to the frightened;

	Comes to the help of the upright;
	Promotes the cause of the weak and the enslaved;
	Annihilates the autocrats;
	Destroys rulers and appoints the 'awaited saviors' in their place.

Praise be to Allah,

	Who breaks the back of the oppressors;
	Puts an end to the tyrants;
	Watches over the fugitives;
	Assists the ones who cry out for help;
	Meets the demands of the needy beseechers;
	and who supports the faithful.

9. Praising the Almighty and His Creation:

	اَلْحَمْدُ للهِ الَّذي مِنْ خَشْيَتِهِ تَرْعَدُ السَّماءُ وَسُكّانُها،
	وَتَرْجُفُ الاَْرْضُ وَعُمّارُها، وَتَمُوجُ الْبِحارُ وَمَنْ يَسْبَحُ في غَمَراتِها،
	اَلْحَمْدُ للهِ الَّذي هَدانا لِهذا وَما كُنّا لِنَهْتَدِيَ لَوْلا اَنْ هَدانَا اللّهُ،
	اَلْحَمْدُ للهِ الَّذي يَخْلُقُ وَلَمْ يُخْلَقْ، وَيَرْزُقُ وَلا يُرْزَقُ، وَيُطْعِمُ وَلا يُطْعَمُ،
	وَيُميتُ الاَْحياءَ وَيُحْيِي الْمَوْتى وَهُوَ حَيٌّ لا يَمُوتُ،
	بِيَدِهِ الْخَيْرُ وَهُوَ عَلى كُلِّ شَيْء قَديرٌ،

Praise be to Allah! who out of His fear the heavens and its dwellers tremble; the earth and its inhabitants shake and quiver; and the oceans and all that is in their waves furiously flow.

	Praise be to Allah! Who has guided us to this, otherwise we could not have been led aright if Allah had not guided us.
	Praise be to Allah! Who creates but is not created;
	Gives subsistence but needs no provisions;
	Gives us nourishment but takes no nourishment;
	Makes the living dead and brings the dead to life; and He is the ever-living, there is no death for Him; in His hands is all the good.
	And He is able to do all things.

10. Invoking Blessings for Muhammad:

	اَللّـهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّد عَبْدِكَ وَرَسُولِكَ،
	وَاَمينِكَ، وَصَفِيِّكَ، وَحَبيبِكَ، وَخِيَرَتِكَ مَنْ خَلْقِكَ،
	وَحافِظِ سِرِّكَ، وَمُبَلِّغِ رِسالاتِكَ،
	اَفْضَلَ وَاَحْسَنَ، وَاَجْمَلَ وَاَكْمَلَ، وَاَزْكى وَاَنْمى،
	وَاَطْيَبَ وَاَطْهَرَ، وَاَسْنى وَاَكْثَرَ ما صَلَّيْتَ وَبارَكْتَ وَتَرَحَّمْتَ،
	وَتَحَنَّنْتَ وَسَلَّمْتَ عَلى اَحَد مِن عِبادِكَ وَاَنْبِيائِكَ وَرُسُلِكَ،
	وَصِفْوَتِكَ وَاَهْلِ الْكَرامَةِ عَلَيْكَ مِن خَلْقِكَ،

O Allah! Confer blessings on Muhammad,

	Thy servant and Messenger, the confidant, friend, beloved intimate, the mercy unto all the created beings,
	The bearer of Thy sacraments, quotient of Thy messengers,
	The most superior, the exquisite, the handsome, the perfect, the upright, the more prospering,
	The pleasant, the thoroughly purified, the sublime;

O Allah! provide him with the highest blessings, advantages, mercies, affections and salutations than You made available to any one of Thy servants, prophets, messengers, friends, and those honored by Thee from among Thy created being.

11. Invoking Blessings for Muhammad's Progeny:

	اَللّـهُمَّ وَصَلِّ عَلى عَليٍّ اَميرِ الْمُؤْمِنينَ، وَوَصِيِّ رَسُولِ رَبِّ الْعالَمينَ،
	عَبْدِكَ وَوَليِّكَ، وَاَخي رَسُولِكَ،
	وَحُجَّتِكَ عَلى خَلْقِكَ، وَآيَتِكَ الْكُبْرى، وَالنَّبأِ الْعَظيمِ،
	وَصَلِّ عَلَى الصِّدّيقَةِ الطّاهِرَةِ فاطِمَةَ سَيِّدَةِ نِساءِ الْعالَمينَ،
	وَصَلِّ عَلى سِبْطَيِ الرَّحْمَةِ وَاِمامَيِ الْهُدى،
	الْحَسَنِ وَالْحُسَيْنِ سَيِّدَيْ شَبابِ اَهْلِ الْجَّنَةِ،

O Allah! Confer blessings on Ali the Leader of the Faithful, the successor to the Messenger of the Lord of the worlds,

	Thy servant, Thy beloved representative, brother of Thy Messenger,
	Thy decisive argument over mankind,
	And Thy most important sign, the great news from Thee.

O Allah! Confer blessings on the truthful pure Fatima, the chosen leader of the women of the worlds.

O Allah! Confer blessings on the sons of the mercy unto the worlds, the leaders and guides, the Imams al-Hasan and al-Husain, leaders of the dwellers of Paradise.

12. Continuing to Invoking Blessings for the Imams:

	وَصَلِّ عَلى اَئِمَّةِ الْمُسْلِمينَ،
	عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ، وَمُحَمَّدِ ابْنِ عَلِيٍّ، وَجَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّد، وَمُوسَى بْنِ جَعْفَر، وَعَلِيِّ بْنِ مُوسى، وَمُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ، وَعَلِيِّ بْنِ مُحَمَّد، وَالْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِىٍّ، وَالْخَلَفِ الْهادي الْمَهْدِيِّ،
	حُجَجِكَ عَلى عِبادِكَ، وَاُمَنائِكَ في بِلادِكَ صَلَاةً كَثيرَةً دائِمَةً
	اَللّـهُمَّ وَصَلِّ عَلى وَلِىِّ اَمْرِكَ الْقائِمِ الْمُؤَمَّلِ،
	وَالْعَدْلِ الْمُنْتَظَرِ، وَحُفَّهُ بِمَلائِكَتِكَ الْمُقَرَّبينَ،
	وَاَيِّدْهُ بِرُوحِ الْقُدُسِ يا رَبَّ الْعالَمينَ،

O Allah! Confer blessings on the Leaders of the Muslims,

Ali ibn al-Husain, Muhammad ibn Ali, Ja'far ibn Muhammad,
Musa ibn Ja'far, Ali ibn Musa, Muhammad ibn Ali, Ali ibn Muhammad, al-Hasan ibn Ali,

and his son:

	the eagerly anticipated, the rightly guided Guide,
	Who is Thy decisive argument over Thy servants,
	Thy trustworthy confidant on Thy earth;

Send the blessings, numerous, and forever.

O Allah! Confer blessings on the Custodian of thy commandments, the vigilant Guardian, the reliable Patron, the Justice awaited for, and let him be surrounded by Thy favorite angels, assisted by the Holy Spirit.

13. Imploring Allah for Al-Mahdi

	اَللّـهُمَّ اجْعَلْهُ الدّاعِيَ اِلى كِتابِكَ، وَالْقائِمَ بِدينِكَ،
	اِسْتَخْلِفْهُ في الاَْرْضِ كَما اسْتَخْلَفْتَ الَّذينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِ،
	مَكِّنْ لَهُ دينَهُ الَّذي ارْتَضَيْتَهُ لَهُ،
	اَبْدِلْهُ مِنْ بَعْدِ خَوْفِهِ اَمْناً يَعْبُدُكَ لا يُشْرِكُ بِكَ شَيْئاً،
	اَللّـهُمَّ اَعِزَّهُ وَاَعْزِزْ بِهِ،
	وَانْصُرْهُ وَانْتَصِرْ بِهِ، وَانْصُرْهُ نَصْراً عَزيزاً،
	وَاْفتَحْ لَهُ فَتْحاً يَسيراً، وَاجْعَلْ لَهُ مِنْ لَدُنْكَ سُلْطاناً نَصيراً،

O Allah! Let him (al-Mahdi) be the very caller unto Thy Book for establishing Thy religion,

	And make him succeed in the earth, as You caused those who were before him to succeed,
	And establish for him his faith which You have approved for him,
	And give him in exchange safety after fear. That he serves Thee, ascribing no partner unto Thee.

O Allah, give him power and authority, and through him strengthen the people.

	Give him the necessary assistance,
	and through him support the people,
	and make him prevail over all and the final decisive victory,
	and delegate him Thy controlling authority.

14. Continuing to Imploring Allah for Al-Mahdi

	اَللّـهُمَّ اَظْهِرْ بِهِ دينَكَ، وَسُنَّةَ نَبِيِّكَ،
	حَتّى لا يَسْتَخْفِيَ بِشَىْء مِنَ الْحَقِّ، مَخافَةَ اَحَد مِنَ الْخَلْقِ
	اَللّـهُمَّ اِنّا نَرْغَبُ اِلَيْكَ في دَوْلَة كَريمَة تُعِزُّ بِهَا الاِْسْلامَ وَاَهْلَهُ،
	وَتُذِلُّ بِهَا النِّفاقَ وَاَهْلَهُ،
	وَتَجْعَلُنا فيها مِنَ الدُّعاةِ اِلى طاعَتِكَ، وَالْقادَةِ اِلى سَبيلِكَ،
	وَتَرْزُقُنا بِها كَرامَةَ الدُّنْيا وَالاْخِرَةِ،
	اَللّـهُمَّ ما عَرَّفْتَنا مِن الْحَقِّ فَحَمِّلْناهُ، وَما قَصُرْنا عَنْهُ فَبَلِّغْناهُ،

O Allah! Through him (al-Mahdi) give currency to Thy religion, and the Tradition of Thy Prophet, till nothing which is Just and True is kept concealed from any of Thy creation.

O Allah! We ardently desire for a just Government, and fair era

	In which You reactivate Islam and keep aright its followers,
	And humiliate the imposters and their double-dealers,
	And include us among those who invite people unto Thy obedience,
	And lead them to Thy approved path, and give us the good of this world and the world to come.

O Allah! let us bear out and hold up that which You make known to us as the truth, and let us be fully aware of that which we fall short of doing.

15. Imploring Allah for Al-Mahdi's Works:

	اَللّـهُمَّ الْمُمْ بِهِ شَعَثَنا، وَاشْعَبْ بِهِ صَدْعَنا،
	وَارْتُقْ بِهِ فَتْقَنا، وَكَثِّرْبِهِ قِلَّتَنا،
	وَاَعْزِزْ بِهِ ذِلَّتَنا، وَاَغْنِ بِهِ عائِلَنا،
	وَاَقْضِ بِهِ عَنْ مَغْرَمِنا، وَاجْبُرْبِهِ فَقْرَنا،
	وَسُدَّ بِهِ خَلَّتَنا، وَيَسِّرْ بِهِ عُسْرَنا،
	وَبَيِّضْ بِهِ وُجُوهَنا، وَفُكَّ بِهِ اَسْرَنا،
	وَاَنْجِحْ بِهِ طَلِبَتَنا، وَاَنْجِزْ بِهِ مَواعيدَنا،
	وَاسْتَجِبْ بِهِ دَعْوَتَنا، وَاَعْطِنا بِهِ سُؤْلَنا،
	وَبَلِّغْنا بِهِ مِنَ الدُّنْيا وَالاْخِرَةِ آمالَنا، وَاَعْطِنا بِهِ فَوْقَ رَغْبَتِنا،
	يا خَيْرَ الْمَسْؤولينَ وَاَوْسَعَ الْمُعْطينَ،

O Allah! through him (al-Mahdi), set our disorder into order;

	Gather and unite our flock;
	Stitch together our asunder separation;
	Turn our want and poverty into sufficiency;
	Lift us up from our degradation;
	Free us from our misery;
	Pull us out from our debts;
	Help us out from the ditch of cares and sorrows;
	Fill the gap created by confusion among us;
	Let our difficulties be easy to deal with;
	Refine our substance and style;
	Untie our knotted ropes and straps;
	Let our efforts succeed well and secure success;
	Make us fulfill our promises;
	Give answers to our prayers;
	Listen to our requests;
	Cause us to obtain the good of this world and the hereafter;
	Give us much and more than our expectations,
	O Allah, the best of givers and providers;

16. Continuing to Implore Allah for Al-Mahdi's Works:

	اِشْفِ بِهِ صُدُورَنا، وَاَذْهِبْ بِهِ غَيْظَ قُلُوبِنا،
	وَاهْدِنا بِهِ لِمَا اخْتُلِفَ فيهِ مِنَ الْحَقِّ بِاِذْنِكَ،
	اِنَّكَ تَهْدي مَنْ تَشاءُ اِلى صِراط مُسْتَقيم،
	وَانْصُرْنا بِهِ عَلى عَدُوِّكَ وَعَدُوِّنا اِلـهَ الْحَقِّ آمينَ،

	And cleanse our hearts,
	And unburden us from hatred and anger,
	And show us the right path when the disputes are in the matter of truth.
	Verily, O Lord You guide whoever You will to the right path.
	Let us, through him, get the better of Thy enemies and our opponents, O True God. Be it so.

17. Beseeching the Almighty:

	اَللّـهُمَّ اِنّا نَشْكُو اِلَيْكَ فَقْدَ نَبِيِّنا صَلَواتُكَ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ، وَغَيْبَةَ وَلِيِّنا،
	وَكَثْرَةَ عَدُوِّنا، وَقِلَّةَ عَدَدِنا،
	وَشِدّةَ الْفِتَنِ بِنا، وَتَظاهُرَ الزَّمانِ عَلَيْنا،
	فَصَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّد وَآلِهِ،
	وَاَعِنّا عَلى ذلِكَ بِفَتْح مِنْكَ تُعَجِّلُهُ، وَبِضُرٍّ تَكْشِفُهُ،
	وَنَصْر تُعِزُّهُ وَسُلْطانِ حَقٍّ تُظْهِرُهُ،
	وَرَحْمَة مِنْكَ تَجَلِّلُناها وَعافِيَة مِنْكَ تُلْبِسُناها، بِرَحْمَتِكَ يا اَرْحَمَ الرّاحِمينَ

O Allah, our complaint to You is caused by the departure of our Prophet, Thy blessings be upon him and on his family, and

	the absence of our guardian (al-Mahdi),
	The numerous enemies, versus our small number,
	The widespread disorder, and the vicissitudes of time.

So confer Thy blessings on Muhammad and on his family, and

	Help us to overcome this state of affairs.
	Disperse the ominous clouds hanging over our heads;
	Lend us a helping hand to achieve success;
	Bring in the rule of justice and fair play;
	Make us bright, free from grief; and take care of us.
	Through Thy mercy, O Lord most Merciful.
