1. Glorifying Allah's
Attributes:
 | سُبْحانَ اللهِ وَالْحَمْدُ للهِ وَلا اِلـهَ إلاّ اللهُ
وَاللهُ اَكبَرُ وَلا حَوْلَ ولا قُوَّةَ إلاّ بِاللهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظِيم،
|
| سُبْحانَ اللهِ آناءَ اللَّيْلِ وَاَطْرافَ النَّهارِ،
|
| سُبْحانَ اللهِ بِالْغُدُوِّ وَالاصالِ،
|
| سُبْحانَ اللهِ بِالْعَشِيِّ وَالاِْبكارِ،
|
| سُبْحانَ اللهِ حينَ تُمْسُونَ وَحينَ تُصْبِحُونَ
|
| وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ فِي السَّماواتِ وَالاَْرْضِ وَعَشِيَّاً
وَحينَ تُظْهِرُونَ، |
| يُخْرِجَ الْحَيَّ مِنَ الْمَيِّتِ وَيُخْرِجُ الْمَيِّتَ
مِنَ الْحَيِّ وَيُحْييِ الاَْرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِها وَكَذلِكَ تُخْرَجُونَ،
|
| سُبْحانَ رَبِّكَ رَبِّ الْعِزَّةِ عَمّا يَصِفُونَ
وَسَلامٌ عَلَى المُرْسَلينَ وَالْحَمْدُ للهِ رَبِّ الْعالَمِينَ،
|
|
Glory be to God and the
Praise is His; There is no deity but Allah. Allah is great.
| There is no Might nor
True Power except with Allah, the Most High, Supreme. |
| Glory be to Allah, during the night, and
during the day. |
| Glory be to Allah, be it at day-break or sunset. |
| Glory be to Allah, in the shadows of early evening, or in the
twilight of morning. |
| Glory be to Allah, when the evening passes, or the morning
departs. |
| The Praise is unto Him, in the heavens and the earth, whether
it is day or night: |
| He brings forth life out from death, and lets death
stop life, He revives the soil to grow fruitful, after it
had become barren, just as when people come out to face the Trial. |
| Glory be to your Lord, the Lord of
Glory, High nigh above what they attribute to Him, and peace be on His Messengers; and All the Praise
be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. |

| سُبْحانَ الدّائِمِ غَيْرِ الْغَافِلِ،
|
| سُبْحانَ الْعالِمِ بِغَيْرِ تَعْلِيم،
|
| سُبْحانَ خالِقِ ما يُرى، ومَا لا يُرى
|
| سُبْحانَ الَّذي يُدْرِكُ الاَْبْصارَ وَلا تُدْرِكُهُ
الاْبْصارُ وَهُوَ اللَّطيفُ الْخَبِيرُ، |
| اَللّـهُمَّ إنّي اَصْبَحْتُ مِنْكَ في نِعْمَة وَخَيْر
وَبَرَكَة وَعافِيَة |
| فَصَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّد وَآلِهِ
|
| وَاَتْمِمْ عَلَيَّ نِعْمَتَكَ وَخَيْرَكَ وَبَرَكاتِكَ
وَعافِيَتِكَ بِنَجاة مِنَ الْنَّارِ، وَارْزُقْنِي شُكْرَكَ وَعافِيَتَكَ وَفَضْلَكَ وَكَرامَتَكَ اَبَداً ما اَبْقَيْتَنِي، |
|
| Glory be to the Permanent and All-Aware |
| Glory be to Him who Knows but without being taught.
|
| Glory be to the Creator of what is visible, and invisible. |
| Glory be to Him who Perceives but is beyond the reach of
perception, and is Subtle and All-Knowing. |
| O Allah! each day I wake up in Thy bounties,
Blessings, Love and Protection. |
| Send thy blessings on Muhammad and on his progeny, |
| And confer on me Thy Bounties,
Blessings, Love and Protection, by distancing me from Hellfire.
And bestow on me my thanking You, and rendering Thy Favors, Rewards, and
Kindness, for as long as You keep me alive. |
|
4. Attesting:
| اَللّـهُمَّ بِنُورِكَ اهْتَدَيْتُ
وَبِفَضْلِكَ اسْتَغْنَيْتُ وَبِنِعْمَتِكَ اَصْبَحْتُ وَاَمْسَيْتُ، |
| اَللّـهُمَّ اِنّي اُشْهِدُكَ وَكَفى
بِكَ شَهِيداً |
| وَاُشْهِدُ مَلائِكَتِكَ
واَنْبِياءِكَ وَرُسُلَكَ وَحَمَلَةَ عَرْشِكَ وَسُكَّانَ سَماواتِكَ وَاَرْضِكَ وَجَميعَ خَلْقِكَ
|
| بِاَنَّكَ اَنْتَ اللهُ لا اِلـهَ
إلاّ اَنْتَ وَحْدَكَ لا شَرِيكَ لَكَ
|
| واَنَّ مُحَمَّداً صَلَّى اللهُ
عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ عَبْدُكَ وَرَسُولُكَ
|
| وَاَنَّكَ عَلى كُلِّ شَيء قَدِيرٌ،
تُحْيي وَتُميتُ وَتُميتُ وتُحْيي
|
|
| O Allah! By Thy Light I am Enlightened and by Thy favors
I am enriched, and through Thy bounties I begin my day and end it. |
| O Allah! I testify and You are my witness; and suffice it to be
my Witness, |
| And I call to witness Thy angels, Thy Prophets, Thy Messengers, Thy
Throne, and the dwellers of the heavens and the earth, and all what You created, (to say) |
| That
You are Allah; there is no deity except You, One and
Only, and that You have no partner to share with Thee; |
| And that Muhammad (pbuh),
is Thy servant and Messenger, |
| And that You are the Authority over all things;
You bring to life and put to death. And You make dead and keep
alive. |
|
5. Attesting,
continued:
| وَاَشْهَدُ اَنَّ الْجَنَّةَ حَقٌّ
وَاَنَّ النَّارَ حَقٌّ، |
| وَ اَنَّ النُّشُورَ حَقٌّ،
وَالْسَّاعَهَ اتِيَةٌ لا رَيْبَ فيهَا،
|
| وَاَنَّ اللهَ يَبْعَثُ مَنْ فِي
القُبُورِ، |
| وَاَشْهَدُ اَنَّ عَلِيَّ بْنَ اَبي
طالِب اَميرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ حَقّاً حَقّاً،
|
| وَاَنَّ الاْئِمَّةَ مِنْ وُلْدِهِ
هُمُ الاْئمَّةُ الهُداةُ الْمَهْدِيُّونَ غَيْرُ الضّالّينَ وَلاَ المُضِلِّينَ
|
| وَاَنَّهُمْ أَوْلِياؤٌكَ
الْمُصْطَفَوْنَ وَحِزْبُكَ الْغالِبُونَ
|
| وَصِفْوَتُكَ وَخِيَرَتُكَ مِنْ
خَلْقِكَ |
| وَنُجَباؤُكَ الَّذِينَ
انْتَجَبْتَهُمْ لِدينِكَ وَاخْتَصَصْتَهُمْ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ، واصْطَفْيَتَهُمْ عَلى عِبادِكَ،
|
| وَجَعَلْتَهُمْ حُجَّةً عَلَى
العالَمينَ صَلَواتُكَ عَلَيْهِمْ والسَّلامُ وَرَحْمةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكاتُهُ،
|
| اَللّـهُمَّ اكْتُبْ لي هذِهِ
الشَّهادَهَ عِنْدَكَ حَتّى تُلَقِّنّيهاَ يَوْمَ الْقِيامَةِ
|
| وَانْتَ عَنّى راض اِنَّكَ عَلى ما
تَشاءُ قَديرٌ، |
|
And I
testify that paradise is true, and Hell is real,
| And the
resurrection is certain, the hour of Reckoning shall surely come, |
| and Allah will raise the dead from the graves. |
I testify that Ali ibn Abi Talib, is the
leader of the faithfuls, in Truth, in Truth,
| And the Imams from among his
progeny are the Divine Guides, who do not go astray, nor leading astray,
|
| And they are
Thy devotees and winning party. |
| They are
Chosen by Thee, as the best among Thy creation |
| You have selected them
for Thy religion, and specified them for it, and have distinguished them above Thy servants |
| And You have made them decisive arguments
for all the worlds. May Thy blessings and peace be on them; with Allah's
mercy and His abundant Grace. |
| O Allah! Kindly put on record my attesting,
so You make me say it again on the Day of Judgment, while You are satisfied with me. Verily You
do what You Will. |
|
6. Grateful to God:
| اَللّـهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمدُ حَمداً
يَصْعَدُ اَوَّلُهُ وَلا يَنْفَدُ اخِرُهُ،
|
| اَللّـهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمدُ حَمْداً
تَضَعُ لَكَ السَّماءُ كَنَفَيْها وَتُسَبِّحُ لَكَ الاْرْضُ وَمَنْ عَلَيْها،
|
| اَللّـهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ حَمْداً
سَرْمَداً اَبَداً لاَ انْقِطاعَ لَهُ وَلا نَفادَ وَلَكَ يَنْبَغي وَاِلَيْكَ يَنْتَهي فِيَّ وَعَلَيَّ وَلَدَيَّ وَمَعي وَقَبْلي وَبَعْدي وَاَمامِي وَفَوْقي وَتَحْتي
وَاِذا مِتُّ وَبَقيتُ فَرْداً وَحيداً ثُمَّ فَنيِتُ،
|
|
| O Allah! The Praise is for Thee;
A Praise that precedes any beginning and goes on for eternity.
|
| O Allah! The Praise
is for Thee; A Praise that subdues the skies and its projection; and sets the earth
and the ones on it in glorifying Thee. |
| O Allah! The Praise is for Thee;
Everlasting, Eternal without interruption, nor goes waste, but moves proudly towards Thee, till it reaches Thee.
|
| Let
Thy praise be inside me, around me, ahead of me, behind me, next to me, in
front of me, over me, below me, whether asleep, or awake; unique incomparable, till I die. |
|
7. Grateful to
God continued:
| وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ اِذا نُشِرْتُ وَبُعِثْتُ يا مَوْلايَ.
|
| اَللّـهُمَّ وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ وَلَكَ الشُّكْرُ بِجَميعِ
مَحامِدِكَ كُلِّها عَلى جَميعِ نَعْمائِكَ كُلِّها حَتّى يَنْتَهِيَ الْحَمْدُ اِلى ما تُحِبُّ رَبَّنا وَتَرْضى،
|
| اَللّـهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ عَلى كُلِّ اَكْلَة وَشِربَة
وَبَطْشَة وَقَبْضَة وَبَسْطَة وَفي كُلِّ مَوْضِعِ شَعْرَة،
|
| اَللّـهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ حَمْداً خالِداً مَعَ
خُلُودِكَ |
| ولَكَ الْحَمْدُ حَمْداً لا مُنْتَهى لَهُ دُونَ عِلْمِكَ
وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ حمداً أمدَ لهُ دُونَ مشيَّتِكَ،
|
|
| The Praise is for
Thee, when I am raised from the dead, and brought to life again, |
| O Allah! The Praise is for Thee!
Thankfulness together with Thy praise, for Thy bounties, to such profound extent that
You, our Lord, like and accept. |
| O Allah! The Praise is for Thee, for all
gains, satisfactions, courageous actions, possessions, joy and happiness, and knowledge of all situations. |
| O Allah! The praise is for Thee, abiding
praise, surrounding Thy Eternity. |
| The
Praise is for Thee; praise that knows no bounds, but only You
know. |
| The
Praise is for Thee; praise that fades not
but moves towards Thee; |
|
8. Grateful to
God continued:
| وَلَكَ الحمدُ حَمداً لا أخرَ
لقائِلهِ إلاّ رِضاكَ |
| وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ عَلى حِلْمِكَ
بَعْدَ عِلْمِكَ |
| وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ عَلى عَفِْوكَ
بَعْدَ قُدرَتِكَ |
| وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ باعِثَ الْحَمْدِ
وَلَكَ الْحَمْدِ وارِثَ الْحَمْدُ
|
| ولَكَ الْحَمْدُ بَديعَ الْحَمْدِ
|
| وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ مُنْتَهَى الْحَمْدِ
|
| وَلَكَ الْحَمْدِ مُبتَدِعَ الْحَمْدِ
|
| وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ مُشْتَرِيَ
الْحَمْدِ |
| وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ وَلِيَّ الْحَمْدِ
وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ قَديمَ الْحَمْدِ
|
| وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ صادِقَ الوَعْدِ
وَفِيَّ الْعَهْدِ عَزيزَ الجُنْدِ قائِمَ الَْمجْدِ
|
|
| The
Praise is for Thee, a praise without end unless approved by Thee. |
| The Praise is
for Thee, for Thy Grace despite what You know. |
| The Praise is
for Thee, for Thy forgiveness, despite the Power You have. |
| The
Praise is for Thee, the sole purpose of praise. |
| The
Praise is for Thee, the beneficiary of praise. |
| The Praise is
for Thee, the origin of praise. |
| The Praise is
for Thee, the ultimate of praise. |
| The Praise is
for Thee, the first subject of praise. |
| The Praise is
for Thee, the hopeful expectation of praise. |
| The
Praise is for Thee, the beloved Praised; |
| The
Praise is for Thee, the eternal praiseworthy. |
| The Praise is
for Thee, the Truthful who keeps His promise, and fulfils the covenant, Who is of
prevailing means, and Whose Glory goes on forever. |
|
8. Grateful to God continued:
| وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ رَفيعَ الدَّرَجاتِ
مُجيبَ الدَّعَواتِ مُنزِلَ الاْياتِ مِنْ فَوْقِ سَبْعِ سَماوات
|
| عَظيمَ الْبَرَكاتِ مُخْرِجَ النُّورِ
مِنَ الظُّلُماتِ مَنْ فِي الظُّلُماتِ ومٌخْرِجَ اِلىَ النُّورِ،
|
| مُبَدِّلَ السَّيِّئاتِ حَسَنات،
وَجاعِلَ الْحَسَناتِ دَرَجات،
|
| اَللّـهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ غافِرَ
الذَّنْبِ وَقابِلَ التَّوْبِ شَديدَ الْعِقابِ ذَا الطَّوْلِ،
|
| لا اِلـهَ إلاّ اَنْتَ اِلَيْكَ
الْمَصيرُ، |
|
| The Praise is for Thee,
elevator of ranks; Who responds to prayers, and from the seven
heavens above Thy signs come down,
 | carrying countless blessings, |
| bringing out light from darkness, |
| leading him, who is ignorant to the
light of wisdom |
| transforming the bad into the beauty |
| compensating virtue with handsome recompense. |
|
| O Allah! The Praise is for
Thee, O Who:
| forgives sins, |
| accepts repentance, |
| exercises retribution, |
| and grants remission. |
|
| There is no deity except Thee.
Unto Thee is the return. |
|
9. Grateful to
God continued:
| اَللّـهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ فِي
الَّليْلِ اِذا يَغْشى، |
| وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ فِي النَّهارِ اِذا
تَجَلّى، |
| وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ فِي الاخِرَةِ
وَالاُْولى، |
| وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ عَدَدَ كُلِّ نَجْم
وَمَلَك فِي السَّماءِ، |
| وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ عَدَدَ الثَّرى
وَالْحَصى وَالنَّوى، |
| وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ عَدَدَ ما في جَوِّ
الَّسماءِ، |
| وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ عَدَدَ ما فى جَوْفِ
الارْضِ، |
| وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ عَدَدَ اَوْزانِ
مِياهِ الْبِحارِ، |
| وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ عَدَدَ اَوْراقِ
الاَْشْجارِ، |
| وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ عَدَدَ ما عَلى
وَجْهِ الاَْرْضِ، |
| وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ عَدَدَ ما اَحْصى
كِتابُكَ، |
| وَلَك الْحَمْدُ عَدَدَ ما اَحاطَ
بِهِ عِلْمُكَ، |
| وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ عَدَدَ الاِْنْسِ
وَالْجِنِّ وَالْهَوامِّ وَالطَّيْرِ وَالْبَهائِمِ والسِّباعِ،
|
| حَمْداً كثيراً طَيِّباً مُباركاً
فِيهِ كَما تُحِبُّ رَبَّنا وَتَرْضى، وَكَما يَنْبَغي لِكَرَمِ وَجْهِكَ وَعِزِّ جَلالِكَ.
|
|
| O Allah! The Praise is for
Thee, in the night as darkness spreads. |
| The Praise is for Thee, in
daytime when light unfolds. |
| The Praise is for Thee, till
the very end, from the earliest beginning. |
| The Praise is for Thee, as the
number of the stars and the Angels in the heavens. |
| The Praise is for Thee, equal to the odd, even and
infinite numbers. |
| The Praise is for Thee, equal to
what is in the expanse of the Heavens. |
| The Praise is for Thee, equal to
what is inside the layers of the earth. |
| The Praise is for Thee, equal to the bulk of the
waters found everywhere. |
| The Praise is for Thee, equal to the branches,
leafs, trees, and plants. |
| The Praise is for Thee, equal to
what is over the face of the earth. |
| The Praise is for Thee, equal to all
what Thy Holy Book tells and entails. |
| The Praise is for Thee, equal to all
what Thy Wisdom surrounds. |
| The Praise is for Thee, equal to the number of men
and jinn, reptiles, birds, animals, and wild beasts. |
| A great many praise, good and blessed, just as
Thou like, O our lord! and be pleased with. And as it should be befitting to Thy
Pre-Eminence, and Glory. |
|
ثمّ تقول عشراً:
Then Recite each of the following 10 times
لا اِلـهَ إلاّ اللهُ وَحْدَهُ
لا شَريكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ اللَّطيفُ الْخَبيرُ. |
There
is no deity but Allah; The One, without an associate. For Him is the sovereignty, and for Him is all praise. He is
aware of every detail, definite and exact. |
ثمّ تقول عشراً:
Recite each of the following 10 times
لا اِلـهَ إلاّ اللهُ
وَحْدَهُ لا شَريكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ يُحْيي وَيُميتُ ويُميتُ وَيُحْيي وَهُوَ حَيٌّ لا يَمُوتُ بِيَدِهِ الْخَيْرُ وَهُوَ عَلى كُلِّ شَيء قَديرٌ |
There
is no deity but Allah; the One, without an associate. For Him is the sovereignty, and for Him is all
Praise. He brings to life and puts to death. He makes dead, He keeps alive. He is Ever-Alive, ever existent. All good is in His hand, And
He is able to do all things. |
ثمّ تقول عشراً:
Recite each of the following 10 times
اَسْتَغْفِرُ اللهَ
الَّذِي لا اِلـهَ إلاّ هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ وَاَتُوبُ اِلَيْهِ |
I ask for Allah’s forgiveness.
There is no deity but Him, the Everliving and Everlasting, and I
turn repentant unto He. |
ثمّ تقول عشراً:
Recite each of the following 10 times
يا اَللهُ يا اَللهُ،
وعشراً : يا رَحْمنُ يا رَحْمنُ وعشراً : يا رَحيمُ يا رَحيمُ |
| Say Ten Times: O Allah. O Allah.
|
| Say Ten Times:
O Beneficient. O Beneficient. |
| Say Ten Times:
O Merciful. O Merciful. |
|
ثمّ تقول عشراً:
Recite each of the following 10 times
يا بَديعُ السَّماواتِ
وَالاَْرْضِ |
O the Creator of the heavens and the earth. |
ثمّ تقول عشراً:
Recite each of the following 10 times
يا ذَا الْجَلالِ
وَالاِْكْرامِ ُ |
O Lord of Majesty and
Grace. |
ثمّ تقول عشراً:
Recite each of the following 10 times
يا حيُّ يا قَيُّوم |
O Ever-Living. O
Everlasting. |
ثمّ تقول عشراً:
Recite each of the following 10 times
يا حَنّانُ يا مَنّانُ
|
O Compassionate. O Loving.
|
ثمّ تقول عشراً:
Recite each of the following 10 times
يا حَيُّ لا اِلـهَ إلاّ
اَنْتَ ٌ |
O Ever Alive,
There is no deity but Thou. |
ثمّ تقول عشراً:
Recite each of the following 10 times
يا اَللهُ يا لا اِلـهَ
إلاّ اَنْتَ |
O Allah! There
is no deity but Thou. |
ثمّ تقول عشراً:
Recite each of the following 10 times
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ
الرَّحِيمًِ |
In the name of Allah,
the Beneficient, the merciful. |
ثمّ تقول عشراً:
Recite each of the following 10 times
اَللّـهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلى
مُحَمَّد وَآلِ مُحَمَّد |
O Allah! Send blessings on Muhammad and on the
progeny of Muhammad. |
ثمّ تقول عشراً:
Recite each of the following 10 times
اَللّـهُمَّ افْعَلْ بي ما
اَنْتَ اَهْلُهُ |
O Allah! Deal with me in a manner that
befits You |
ثمّ تقول عشراً:
Recite each of the following 10 times
آمينَ آمين |
So be it. So be it. |
ثمّ تقول عشراً:
Recite each of the following 10 times
قُلْ هُوَ اللهُ اَحَد |
Say: He is Allah, the
One. |
ثمّ تقول عشراً:
Recite each of the following 10 times
اَللّـهُمَّ اصْنَعْ بي ما
اَنتَ اَهْلُهُ وَلا تَصْنَعُ بي ما اَنَا اَهْلُهُ فَاِنَّكَ اَهْلُ التَّقْوى وَاَهْلُ الْمَغْفِرَةِ، وَاَنَا اَهْلُ الذُّنُوبِ وَالْخَطايا فَارْحَمْني يا مَوْلايَ وَاَنْتَ
اَرْحَمُ الرّاحِمينَ |
O Allah! Take good care of me in a manner that
befits You,
do not take into consideration what I deserve,
because You are the All-Wise,
and Oft-Forgiving,
and I am a sinner, a wrong doer.
Have mercy on me O lord O master!
You are the Most Merciful. |
ثمّ تقول عشراً:
Recite each of the following 10 times
لا حَْوَلَ وَلا قُوَّهَ
إلاّ بِاللهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى الْحَيِّ الَّذي لا يَمُوُتُ وَالْحَمْدُ للهِ الَّذي لَمْ يَتَّخِذْ وَلَداً وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ شَريكٌ في الْمُلْكِ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ وَلِيٌّ
مِنَ الذُّلِّ وَكَبِّرْهُ تَكْبيرا |
There is no Authority and no
Might except that of Allah,
