What Human’s create is but God’s Creation

What is becoming clear as we reflect deeper into our created universe is that creation is a dynamic and continuous process that underlies the mechanism of
our existence.
God has created us all from a lowly beginning which signifies the triviality of our
worth in comparison to the totality of the Created Universe. That beginning is the fertilization of an ovule in the womb of the mother by a sperm cell from the father that carry
their genetic code which combine to form a new human being.

Our form and intellectual capabilities are predetermined by the way the
genetic code was set up during the fertilization process in the wombs of our mothers. As we grow older and develop into grown up human beings capable of using our intellect,
we are in fact living our lives empowered by our cognition and our creative capacity imparted to us by the Creator in the creative process. This obviously makes our
intellectual output His and His alone, as is made abundantly clear in the following verses:
The Quran: 16:4
“He created the human out of a [mere] drop of sperm: and lo! this same being shows himself endowed with the power to think and to argue!”
When the sperm fertilizes the egg by the union of the chromosomes present in
the paternal and maternal cells which thus brought together determine the genetic inheritance of the new form.
First, the genetic code in the sperm determines the gender of the new form.
-
The programmed information stored in the DNA molecules that make up the
genetic code start to dictate the step by step building of the new form as the fertilized egg starts developing into an embryo and then a fetus.
-
Depending on the information stored in the inherited genetic code of
the fetus, the new form starts to make trillions of new cells and develop the essential organs (the brain, the heart and so on) of a unique human being unlike its parents or for
that matter any other human being.
-
The total design of the new form is implemented, according to the blue
print in the fertilized egg, cell by cell until the whole structure is aligned and completed to come out of the mother’s womb.
-
As a human not yet fully mature, but capable of growing and developing,
-
The new person progresses into adulthood with a mature unique intellect
and is endowed with God’s given asset of creativity and free thinking.
-
Surely, then, whatever the individual is capable of coming up with new ideas
and new systems are but the outcome of God’s Creative prerogative.
As a living example God has clearly demonstrated to all who think how progress has been made during the human development from prior dates to the present and on to the future in
the field of transportation as is mentioned in the following verse:
The Quran: 16:8
“And (it is He who created] horses and mules and asses for you to ride, as well as for [their] beauty: and He will yet create things of which [today] you have no knowledge.”
“In this context, that it is He who will yet create implies the future tense
("He will create") in contrast with the Original Arabic past tense (Created) employed in the preceding passages,16: 3,4&5: which is a clear reference to God's continuing
creation. This comes immediately after mention of the then available means of transport which were the domesticated animals. The reference to “as yet unknown things of the same
category”: that is to say, to new means of transport which God had alluded to (in 16:8) on creating through the instrumentality of the inventiveness with which He has endowed
the human mind.
36:41:
And [it ought to be] a sign for them that We bear their offspring [over the seas] in laden ships”,
36:42 and [that] We create for them things of a similar kind, on which they may embark [in their travels].
Inasmuch as every successive stage of human development bears witness to new, previously undreamt-of inventions in the realm of transport, the Qur'anic statement that "He will
yet create things of which [today] you have no knowledge" is valid for every period - past, present and future of man's history.
It is to be well taken that the myriads of improvements in our human heritage and lives, be it better means of transportation, better health and living standards, better means
of communication are the outcome of God's making. While we enjoy these benefits, we need to recognize some fundamentals that must be taken into account, without which we end up
misusing these benefits and to the detriment of our humanity.
First and foremost, we need to recognize that we live our entire lives in a Universe that is governed by Laws that are God’s making. So, in order for us to take full
advantage of these discoveries and creativities, we need to uphold and abide by these laws.
16:12
And He has made the night and the day and the sun and the moon subservient [to His laws, so that they be of use] to you; and all the stars are subservient to His command: in
this, behold, there are messages indeed for people who use their reason!
55:7 55:8
And the heavens He has raised high: and devised [for all things] a dynamic equilibrium, (55:8) so that you (too, O men,) might not transgress the equilibrium (of what is right):
in the world.
Cognizant of the God given ability of the human mind to learn and create, which He had intended so that we can
improve our lives and that of the other life forms and the environment that we live in. This is a vital standard that we need to uphold is the requirement that the
environment we live in is designed for our benefit, and in order for us to survive, we need to keep it well balanced so that it functions for the wellbeing of all life
forms.
We must make sure that our discoveries and innovations must be gauged so that they are commensurate with God’s design for improving the lives of us humans and for a healthy,
dynamic and safe Universe.
